Hi

I use an iMac, M1, 2021, 8 GB, HD 1 tera updated to Monterey 12.2

I use creative cloud (Illustrator) with no problem until I updated my iMac from Big sur 11.5.1 to Monterey 12.2

Now I don't succed in opening most of files I have created before in Illustrator

I disinstall app and I install all versions I can find in Creative cloud, no way.

Someone can help me?

Thanks

Hello @Liana2339048461rm ,

Sorry to hear about the issue. In addition to the steps shared above could you share a few more details like:

  • Exact version of Illustrator
  • Will you be able to share one or more of the files which you aren't able to open?
  • Crash Report for Illustrator
While submitting the crashreport please use the same email address, with which you are signed in on this community. This will help us find the crash report and help accordingly.

In addition to this could you try resetting the preferences for Illustrator and share your observations with us?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Sorry to hear this is happening! It sounds like you have taken some troubleshooting steps, but here is an article that has a few more suggestions you could try:

https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/fix-crash-on-launch-issues.html

The system requirement for Illustrator on a Mac is a recommended 16 GB, 8 GB is the minimum. You may want to test on files that require less intense processing as you are working through this. At the end of the page above is a link to send a crash report, and that can help Adobe diagnose the issue. I hope this helps.
