In Illustrator, Arial Regular shows in the Fonts menu in the M's not in the A's. version 26.4.1 Windows 10.  All the other Arials I have installed show in the proper locations in the A's. I have tried installing a different copy of Arial from another computer, but it does the same thing. What can I do to get it listed in the menu cvorrectly?

Thank you for your response.  I have finally been able to get back to solving this issue.  I did your suggestions, but it did not solve the problem.  In the process I did discover that I was having some kind of conflict with another font, MERMAID.ttf.  I went to the font list in Photoshop to see if ARIAL was in the M's there also. And instead I had MERMAID.  So I deleted the Mermaid font, deleted the Arial font, restarted my computer, reinstalled Arial.  And now Arial is back in the A's where it belongs, in all my Adobe programs.  Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

We are sorry for the trouble & delayed response. Would you mind checking if clearing the system font cache, then reinstalling the Arial font, resetting Illustrator preferences manually and then launching Illustrator to see if that helps?

Kindly update the discussion if you still need assistance with it. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks & Regards,
