Issue with Illustrator Zoom Tool

Hi everyone

Just recently upgraded from CS5 to Illustrator 2022.

I have noticed that the Zoom tool does not zoom out when I press the CMD key sometimes.

The hand (pan) symbol appears instead.

It doesn't happen all the time - but it is very frustrating.

Just wondering if anyone has the same issue and if so - is it solvable?

Zooming out is happening with the Alt key.

Can you please tell us exactly which keys you are pressing and what you are doing? There have been changes to how the zoom tool behaves overall.
