Não consigo salvar no Illustrator

Todas as vezes que tento salvar ele fecha a caixa de diálogo. Já desinstalei e reinstalei e não adiantou.

Exactly where are you trying to save exactly what?

At which point does Illustrator stop working? when opening the save dialog? When selecting the file format? ...
