Nicht exakte Seitengröße beim pdf Schreiben

Hallo, ich verzweifel gerade. Ich habe einen Buchumschlag angelegt für BoD. Die benötigen als pdf 397,1 mm in der Breite. So ist die Seite in Illustrator auch eingestellt. beim Exportieren als pdf wird in Acrobat aber nur 397 mm angezeigt. Wegen dem fehlenden Millimeter kann die pdf Datei nicht bei BoD hochgeladen werden. Das selbe aus InDesign und Photoshop. Auch über die Versatzeinstellung beim pdf Export komme ich nicht auf das Mass. Weiss jemand Rat?

It may be caused by rounding.

Document Properties in Acrobat don't show the ,1 mm. But the Pageboxes do.

There will always be rounding when converting between inches and centimeters.

2 examples where the 397,099 mm will show as 397,1 mm

Talk to your BoD service provider to solve the problem.

The issue is not the .pdf file. It may rather be a (too) stringent server software on their part.

Hallo Kurt Gold, ja, da scheint natürlich auch etwas nicht zu stimmen.

Das Problem bleibt aber das die Seitengröße von 397,1 in Illustrator auf 397 in Acrobat gerundet wird.

This kind of rounding only applies to the values you see when moving your cursor to the bottom-left in Acrobat (in case it is turned on in the application preferences).

As Ton already indicated, in the Page Boxes dialog you'll (almost) see the real dimensions.
