No plugin extension and unable to open .AIX file from ArcGIS pro

Similar to other folks issues, I am unable to open an .AIX file in illustrator exported from ArcGIS pro. However, I do NOT have the extension for ArcGIS in Adobe. 

Is there a solution without requiring the extension?

    Hi Anubhav, unfortunately those solutions include installing the arcgis for creative cloud extension. Is there a solution without installing the extension? Is the extension required to use .AIX files in Illustrator?
