Something happened and now my screen is white

After selecting the arirbrush from the brush tool, a pop up appeared which I couldn't read because a second later, my screen blacked out. After my screen activated again, my image turned completely white except for my brush strokes. When I share the image, I was able to see all the colors and shapes again, but this is a problem because I wasn't done editiing the image.
