Text to vector graphic is inactive

Dear guys, I was so inspired by the announcement that immediately updated my Illustrator to use "Text to vector graphic (beta)" tool. Unfortunately, it doesn't work AT ALL, even on Adobe's example illustration... The panel is always inactive, whatever I do... What the heck?

Moreover, I can't find the tool in "Window" menu as it described in tutorials, I managed to find it via tools search only...
