Unwanted automatic grouping | HELP

has anyone had this issue lately? it's been happening way too much and I've tried everything to fix it (ungroup, no clipping mask, no compound path, uninstall). It's extremely annoying and ruining my workflow.

this didnt help. i don't use the blob brush and i also tried installing an older version and i still get the same issue.
