"X" keyboard shortcut not toggling between fill and stroke in adobe illustrator 2023

Is anyone else having issues using Illustrator's "x" keyboard shortcut to toggle between fill and stroke? I can't find where the shortcut is in the keyboard shortcuts menu and I'm not sure why it isn't working. I'm running Adobe Illustrator 2023 on a 2023 Macbook Pro with M2 Max. Thanks!

Yes, it is set to english. I'm using Mac OS Ventura 13.5

Are other shortcuts affected as well?

Did you already reboot the system?

Maybe try a preferences reset (you could rename the preferences folder, because that can be made undone).
