Adobe Indesign Publish Online Iphone/Ipad Video Won't Play

This new feautre has so much potential, but there are so many bugs requiring workarounds.

 

I am aware of the text search feature breaking the adobe site causing an internal error message on safari.

I know it's being worked on. Hopefuly that gets fixed soon. Text search is very important!

Iphone/Ipads:

Videos of the MP4 format refuse to load on Iphone or Ipads no matter the browser. It kills the experience.

 

It literaly works on everything else, PC Laptop/Desktop, Android Cellphone/tablets, Linux, Macbook/macpro/macmini, and more...

If anyone can help me with a work around or let me know if this issue is being worked on I'd be greatly appreciative!

    • MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats.

    Hello Mike,

     

    Thank you for responding, could you please explain you post as it doesn't make sense in terms of a solution to just list out random specs with no explanation.

     

    It seems weird if what your suggesting is the the iphone and ipad are limited in their capabilities. The H.264 encoded mp4 video is streaming from adobe.com, embded through the doc, using Adboe's "Publish Online". Which, my understanding is a form of html 5/epub.

     

    If what you stated was true, iphone/ipads wouldn't be able to play 4k video from youtube.
