Adobe Programs (InDesign) not working after migration to new laptop

I can open the files but I cannot safe them or create new files. The error message "file is damaged" pops up. It does not help if I open a copy of the file or something else. I guess it has something to do with the migration process? Can somebody help me out please? Thank you!

Migration does not work often. This is what I would suggest

  • Remove all Adobe programs using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool
  • Restart your computer
  • Now install Creative Cloud Desktop application and the use that to install whatever application you need

Hoepfully the above steps will resolve the issues for you

  1. What OS is the old, what OS has the new computer?
  2. How did you install the application? Via transfer from a backup or old computer or via installation from the CC desktop app?
  3. Where are your files saved? Remot server? Cloud? Local?
