All of a sudden I cannot export my InDesign (18.2) designed magazine to PDF. PLEASE HELP.

I have already saved, quite, and rebooted my system. ANY Assistance is appreciated. I cannot go to printer without PDF. File does not crash, but the background task does not complete.

Do you have an InDesign file placed inside the magazine file? There is a bug in version 18.2 which paused the release of that version because of bug:

"Crash or failure in exporting to PDF if an InDesign document has a placed InDesign document that has any Adobe Fonts applied to it."

Adobe staff is now testing a new version 18.2.1 to fix that issue.

I would downgrade to 18.1 and work with that version.

Have you tried to save your file as an IDML file, open that and save it as a new file then try exporting again?

The issue was indeed a idd file in the layout (stramien). After removing it is solved, but appreciate if this will be solved in next release
