Can ID be used for web designing

in5 is a brilliant extension for InDesign and if you're dead set on it, it will allow you to create a website, but as much as I admire the work that's gone into it, I cannot recommend using it for that.

If you're looking to create a website, there are plenty of better ways to go about it. WordPress is my recommendation but you can look at SquareSpace or WebFlow as other very good tools.

The short answer: InDesign was never created for this. There is an excellent plug-in, in5 from Ajar Productions which adds the ability to extend InDesign into some areas of the web for computers and mobile devices. Read about it here:
