Create cross reference from text anchors in multiple InDesign files

Hi,
I have 20+ chapters InDesign book and a lot of cross-reference text.

Selecting the chapter number I create text anchors for eg. by Selecting 19(chapter number) I make a chapter 19 text anchor.

With the help of the script, I want to create a cross reference for all text anchors.

Cross-references are all over the book and listed on the Preface page.

Now I have a different script for Create Text Anchor. 

Can we have a combined script to create a text anchor and cross reference?

Currently, I open all chapters including the preface first make text anchors for all chapter numbers then create the cross-reference by choosing the "Chapter Reference" format.
