Getting around case sensitivity when Indexing

Hello,

I'm working on a 1000 page text book. I need to create an index for the book and am having issues with the case sensitivity. I am working with drug names and in the body text they may not be capitalized, but when I use them in charts, they may have initial caps. Is there a way to get around having to index them both ways and then combining each one in the index?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Monika

I am working in InDesign, but per Kanikas100's comment above, I placed it in another forum and got the answer. Thanks!
