How to apply the style globally using GREP styles or character style

Hi All,

 

Happy Morning!

Can you please suggest, how to place 'cyan color slash' (See below image for quick underatnding) for punctuation in single shot throught the book.

Correct answer Peter Kahrel

That's easy: type a slash before the comma, make it bold. Then create a character style that applies a negative baseline shift of -3 pts and -290 tracking (or whatever values suit your font best):

 

With that out of the way you'd better find out how to determine which commas should be marked up.

In sentence 4 there are five commas. How do you know that only the first comma should be targetted?

Hi Peter !

 

I don't know it, but here is a challenge, whatever comma is said must be above the color line. Maybe Text reflow but it stays where it is before (comma with color line) Is there any way to do this?
