Question

Image showing on grey boxes even I chose to view on Hight Quality Display

Hi all

I updated InDesign to the current version and apparently, it needs to convert the old file before I can open it.

After converting, grey boxes are shown in place of images, I set to view on Hight Quality Display but that doesn't help.

There are a few files where this happened but some also not.

Any good advice will be appreciated  🙂

Probably the document got corrupted. Export it as IDML then resave it as INDD and then try. What happens if you try to place the files again on the document, does it show fine or not?

Hi Mana

Thank you for your advice, I did it but doesn't work... still showing me grey boxes.

Seem like I need to relink them again manually...

Did you solve this problem? I have the same ... but it is a 250 page catalogue and I simply cannot link all the images individually again!

Did you open an idml file? Have you checked if all images are linked?

Hi Rene

The file that has a problem is .INDD file

The previous version, all images are linked and in this version seems like images in grey boxes I need to relink them again.
