The latest update didn't recognize the workspace and shortcuts. I hope Adobe works this out.

It sounds like you installed CC 2018 without using the option “Import previous settings and preferences” which is actually the best way to do the install. Keeping the old preferences has resulted in poor performance for many. You can manually reset up all of your preferences and keep them as the default by doing so with no document open. When you have everything set up to the way you like it quit the program and when you relaunch all of your settings should be there. I recommend then making a copy of your now “pristine” preference folder for use in the future when or if your preferences get corrupted. If that happens you can use this pristine folder to replace the corrupted one and all of your settings will be intact.

Note, the latest version of InDesign is 13.1 (not 13.01).

The new version does not recognize the saved workspaces.

It seems like InDesign uses the correct workspace by showing the wanted workspace-name in it's menu, but all the saved stuff in it does not work (correctly) at all.

I installed the previous version of InDesign and the saved workspaces work fine.

    Dear Bill,

Thank you, but unfortunately Adobe does not give that is an option.

In the Adobe Creative Cloud there are no options how to install, it just starts to install (updating) and the newest version is deficient.

    Robin,

Please clarify. Your workspaces and shortcuts aren't working? In what way?
