InDesign 18.1 - Improved Performance & Bug Fixes - Maybe NOT

InDesign 18.1 - Improved Performance & Bug Fixes has been released. However the most annoying bug has yet to be fixed.  You would think having a good GPU in your computer would be the best way to view your creative talent inside Indesign. Yet the preview looks nothing like what you would expect unless you switch your preview to the CPU.  Anyone else see this as a problem?
