Are you work with OSX? Update it

I updated it and still can not save or place photos - thank you for the
suggestion

I have an indesign update to do - but then I will lose all of my work

I can open indesign files - in this case - i started a new file from
scratch and just can not save it. I also can not place image

I have my stuff double syncing to onedrive, although it does not work.
could that have something to do with it?

More information needed: OS, version, where so you want to save, etc.

I just want to save it to my laptop

File place and cdm D do not work to paste images either
