Indesign crashing at start up

I have updated to the new 2024 Indesign. Opened a file and worked on it, no issues. After i have quit the app but when i needed to reopen the app it does not start up. Any advice or same findings?

I am so sorry to hear this. What operating system are you on? Did you migrate preferences from 2023 during the installation?

Same here… Tried it with and without migrating preferences and got the same result:

First start is fine but after quitting and restarting it crashes on macOS 13.2.1

Hi @simonr96007725 ,

 

Sorry to hear about the trouble. If it's crashing right after launch, please update the macOS to Ventura 13.6 which is the latest version of macOS Ventura, as this was reported by other users, and the issue was resolved after updating the OS. Please update that and let us know how it goes.

Note: Please ensure that you're updating to macOS 13.6 Ventura and not the latest OS Sonoma, as we're currently in the process of testing and optimizing our latest apps to run on macOS 14 Sonoma.
