InDesign Crashing over and over and over

ID has been crashing whether I open a document, the app, the app and then a document over and over today. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice, restarted my computer about 12 times and nothing works.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. I hope the issue is resolved by now. If not, please update to InDesign v17.1 released globally today and let us know how it goes.

Hi Sarah

Which version of InDesign and OS?

How much RAM and spare hard disk capacity do you have?

Does this happen with you're working on all documents or one particular one?

Have you tried resetting the InDesign preferences?

Version 17.0.1 on Windows 10

RAM: 32 GB

 

This has been happening with all documents and if I open ID on it's own. It will crash when I create a new document as well.

I have reset my settings and uninstalled/reinstalled twice.

17.1 is rolling out now but in the meantime, are you running any third party plugins such and font autoactivation plugin?
