Uninstalling is never really going to fix anything - as it leaves a lot of folders and settings in place. That's is a faux fix for a lot of people.

Hi @Shivani Cathi27152630c3o2,

What is your OS version, can you update your MAC to a higher version of OS? You can check the version compatible with your MAC using the following link

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/system-requirements.html

After your assessment, if you see yourself needing any version from CC2020 and onwards then contact Adobe support as suggested by @Bill Silbert

It sounds like you uninstalled a version of InDesign older than the current (CC2023) and one back (CC 2022). Adobe only allows  the two most recent versions to be downloaded directly from the Creative Cloud desktop app. It also sounds like your Mac's OS is older than two back which also is a requirement when downloading and installing the most recent versions which would be why you are getting the incompatibility message. You can try getting the installer that is compatible with your system by contacting Adobe Customer Care at https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen. Hopefully they will have what you need available.
