InDesign paragraph styles scroll bar missing

I recently noticed that the InDesign paragraph styles scroll bar is missing (see screenshot). I'm running InDesign 18.5. Mentioned this to another designer who said they were also having similar scroll bar issues.

 

Just had an issue with scroll bars in Acrobat and after an hour with tech supposrt the solution was to install an older version until the bug is fixed.

 

Thanks for any suggestions on the ID issue.
