Link brings me to different URL

Hi! I'm designing an interactive PDF, and when I apply a hyperlink to a text box, and click on the text box in the PDF itself, instead of bringing me to https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1713816226215&key=GRP&app=resvlink, it brings me to https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi%3Fid%3D1713816226215%26key%3DGRP%26app%3Dresvlink. The PDF works fine when I apply any other URL to the text box, so I'm stumped. Thanks!

Does the link work properly by itself? That is, if you paste that exact link in the browser, does it go to the correct destinatinon? (The problem may be Marriott redirecting the link for one reason or another...)

What's obvious is that special characters like ?, = and & are being replaced with their percent-encoded versions.

Why it happens I, unfortunately, don't know (as well as why browser doesn't decode them).

What do you see in Hyperlinks panel in InDesign?
