My indesign projectd has been hijacked by incopy, how do I get it back?

I do no have or want incopy. I am working on a booklet in InDesign and now suddenly I can't copy and paste as the curser has changed to incopy. I can't turn it off. Please help me. I have spent over a week on this project and suddenly it isn't working!!!!
