Not seeing all files in finder window when exporting

Question

I am new to working on a PC, however, when I exported on a Mac, it would show all files in my finder window. such as folders, pdfs, jpgs, pngs, etc... on a PC when I export it only shows me the same I am exporting as, if I am exporting to a pdf, I will only see pdfs, if I am exporting to a jpg, I don't see the pdfs or any other files. Why is this? How do I see ALL FILES AT ALL TIMES!

Hi Danielle:

This is a difference in the two operating systems. On all apps—Adobe or otherwise—all files are visible on a Mac. On Windows, there is automatic filtering in place. This is something to take up with Microsoft. 😉
