Paragraph and Text Wrap Palettes Blacked Out

My Paragraph and Text Wrap Palettes keep blacking out—they're there, but there is no information in them. I can fix this by restarting InDesign and deleting preferences, but it only works once, and I don't want to have to do this every time I use the program. Is this a known bug and is there a fix in the works? I'm using 17.4 on a 2021 M1 iMac.
