Hi is there any way to see how many assets are in a cc library at a given time?

Bonus extra credit question - When in indesign under Window > CC Libraries is there a way to click in that expanded window and see the library online? I know the way to get in through the CC Libraries window hamburger upper right menu > View on Website but i remember clicking in the normal window and it bringing me there also.

Correct answer Steve Werner

Thanks. The (i) button is pretty subtle and easy to miss. The info looks like this:

A CC library can be viewed from several locations. The view from within InDesign or another CC app is inherently very small. I can find no location which tells you now many assets are in a particular library.

I also know no way of getting to the Website view (assets.adobe.com/libraries...) in the application (InDesign) view except from the "hamburger" menu.

In addition to viewing assets from Website view, two other good places to view libraries are (1) from the Creative Cloud app (Files > Your Libraries), and (2) the one least noticed is in Adobe Bridge 2023. Bridge now has a Libraries panel which lets you switch between List View and Grid View.

I found the answer

Steve thanks to your hint I found where you can see in a library:

1. Number of members shared with

2. Total MB of assets

3. Total # of assets

4. Created date

5. Modified Date

If you open libraries within the adobe creative cloud app, then double click to view that speicific library, in the bottom right is an (i) button. Click that and it shares you the 5 data points listed above.  Thanks!

I apologize for the confusion. I missed the icon in the first go, as my CC app was not full screen. Thank you for sharing this here, I am sure it will help other community members.

Hi @trishaw19134217 ,

Thank you for reaching out. I am afraid there does not appear to be a way to view the total number of assets in a Creative Cloud library. Having said that, let me assure you, I'll share your feedback with the team and you can do that too by posting a request here

Regards

Rishabh
