Type 1 Fonts how long will support InDesign

Dear Team,

 

How long Type 1 font will support in InDesign, as stated in general instruction from 18.2 release the Type 1 will not support in InDesign, please confirm the statement

That is correct. Type 1 is no longer supported as of 18.2.

You could use them temporarily of you run an earlier InDesign version. But there's no guarantee that your operating system will continue to support them. You should think if alternatives like using an application to convert your Type 1 fonts to OpenType.
