Can't choose non canon paper profile

Up to date Lightroom classic

Canon paper profiles was install using Canon printer driver bundle.

 

I installed a couple of Canson profiles in library/colorsync/profiles. Both profiles show up in choose profile window along with the Canon profiles in LRC. If I select any of the Canon profiles, it does show in the popup, however none of the Canson profiles are displayed.

I am able to choose the Canson profiles in Photoshop although the selection process is completly different.

Well here I go replying to my own post. 

The Canson paper profile does show up if I close and restart LRC. Hopefully this will be of help if someone else finds themselves in the same situation.
