Can't get my photos from my external Hard Drive to LRC.

Question

When I added a 2nd external drive to my computer, I for some dumb reason, deleted everything in Lr1 that also exist on my 1st external drive. I call the First one Lr1 and the second on Lr2. I realize I won't be able to restore any of my edits in Lr1 but I have them all saved elsewhere on my computer.

I was able to get 2014 and 2015 moved to the Lr1 on LRC and I have 2023 on it through September. I added the 2nd drive when I ran our of space on Lr1. I started on adding 2016 photos to it and I got a message that the folder was full.

I can add 2016 by click the + sign in Folders. It loads up fine but I no longer can get to my existing photos in folders 2014, 2015 or 2023. So I cancelled it out. The three downloads show you where I am at now. The first one shows what I see now. The second shows what I see when I added to folder 2016 from my External Hard Drive Lr1. The third shows most of the files that are on my External Hard Drive Lr1.

Should I remove the existing folders; 2014, 2015 & 2023 and start with a clean state on LRC? How would I do that?

Do you mean you deleted photo files? Did you delete these from LrC, or from your computer, or both? Or do you mean something else? Or do you mean you delete the photos from the LrC catalog? Or do you mean you deleted the catalog itself? Or do you mean something else?

Do you have backups of whatever it was that you deleted?

Does any of this refer to importing the photos into LrC? The word "import" or "importing" is not used. Or does it refer to moving or copying photos in your Operating System?

Were these photos previously imported into LrC?
