Can't import files after catalogue upgrade

Today I upgraded my catalogue because of the new LR Classic version.

I since cannot import new files from an SD card. When importing, the statusbar briefly says it's importing the files, then the message dissapears and nothing happens. When I go into the import folder, it says it's importing files but it's not showing anything.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

In the import screen, double check that the destination is valid.

P.S. the above assume your Import method is Copy or Copy as DNG not Add. (and never ever Move), you might try Add and see if that works (copy images to desired folder outside of LrC, then import in LrC via Add)

Does the number of images in the catalog go up, or stay unchanged?
