I'm unable to import photos (USB connection) from my cameras into LR Classic.  LRC cannot "find" the photos.  New development.  Any help appreciated

Adobe says the bug with importing from Nikon cameras via USB cable on Mac OS 13 was fixed in LR 12.1:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-unable-to-import-from-direct-connected-nikon/idi-p/13300956

though there have been a couple reports since of it not working.

Next steps:

1. Verify you have the latest version of LR installed (12.2) by doing Help > System Info.

2. Check that LR has been granted Full Disk Access (not Files And Folders):

Edit: USB import is not working in Ventura. Does your Mac have a card reader?

Hi @Chuck28413121ltjh

Since your question is about Lightroom Classic, I have moved this from the Photoshop forum where you posted.
