Context Aware Spot Removal Freezes

Question

I've been having great success with Lightroom Classic's context-aware spot removal tool, with one caveat.

Lately the tool to freeze-up. When I move the mouse over the picture the target cursor is gone and I just see an arrow icon. I've tried closing and reopening the tool and nothing changes. I've also tried resetting the tool and nothing changes. The only solution is closing Lightroom Classic and reopening it.

I uninstalled and re-installed Lightroom Classic, but the same problem occurs.

Please share the system info of Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > attach & share the document here.

In the meantime, try this:

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor > Set it to Off if it is on Custom or Auto. If this shows you any differences, please check this article to troubleshoot further: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html
