Cropping bug with Denoise AI

Recently, after using Denoise AI, I've found that the crop for my images has been changed. This doesn't happen to every image, and there doesn't seem to be a specific reason for it. I haven't had this issue (that I know of) using my Nikon Z8, but it's popped up while editing images from a Sony Alpha A7 IV.
I suppose the best way to avoid this right now would be to apply Denoise AI before doing my edits, but it's not always feasible. Sometimes I don't know an image needs Denoise until it's been edited. I know it's the recommended course, but that's to avoid issues with masking and adjustments, and I can't think of any reason it would affect cropping.
In order to fix it, I have to expand the stacks of my Denoised images, go to the history steps of the raw file, and go back a couple steps to what the crop is supposed to be and then copy it to the Denoised image. This is extremely tedious and obviously not sustainable. What doesn't make sense is that the history step where the crop changes is a nonsense step like vignetteting, so I'm assuming there's some sort of glitch with the way that images are processed for Denoise and then reapplying the edits.
I'm using the current version of Lightroom Classic on Windows 10.
