Delete Missing Photos in a specific folder

Is there a way to quickly select and delete missing photos in a specific folder or collection?

I am cleaning up my folders from 2018-2022 before I knew had a good system for culling and deleting unusable images.

Instead of selecting individual photos, is there a quicker way to select these photos that are not on my harddrive to remove them from Lightroom Folder & Collections?

One of my folders have 4,000 images, so I would rather not have to select the 2000-3000 that I don't want to keep.

In case anyone else has the same question, I found a workaround.

I found & selected all Missing Photos, then added a DELETE keyword. This way I can search for Delete in the specific folders.

"Is there a way to quickly select and delete missing photos in a specific folder or collection?"

1. Do Library > Find All Missing Photos.

2. Select all the displayed photos.

3. In the Folders panel, click on the desired folder, or in the Collections panel, click on the collection.

The selected photos will be those that are missing in that folder or collection.

I have the same issue about wanting to kill photos which are "hiding". If
you get an answer I would love to hear how you succeeded.

Many thanks!!!!

I did the Find All Missing Photos function, selected all of them, & added a unique keyword (like DELETE). Then as I was viewing each collection or folder, I could search for my keyword to only display the missing photos in that section. It worked quite well.
