I am unable to import photos in LRC

Wanted to import some photos on my Mac today.
Sadly no matter what I do the Import Dialog shows no thumbnails anymore. Suffice it to say there are CR3 files (like always) on the folders.
It does show the directory structure on the left.
I already tried adding Full Filesystem Access via System Settings to Lightroom classic.
I already copied a folder from the SD card to the desktop, worked fine
