Question

I have upgraded to Mac Studio

I have recently upgraded my 2016 iMac to Mac Studio 2022 (Apple M1 Ultra) - Memory 128 GB.
I feel that there is no difference using Lightroom Classic when designing books. Using this poerful device should make a noticable difference.

Provided that I have created another admin user with the same feeling.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

macOS Ventura

Lightroom Classic 12.5 Release

How does it feel when developing raw photos, running AI features like AI Denoise or AI masks, or exporting many images? All of those should be much faster and smoother on a Mac Studio compared to a 2016 Mac.

Designing books might not go much faster. The Book module is very old, and it is not clear if it is optimized for the multiple CPU cores and powerful graphics that the Mac Studio has. For example, the Book module might not be GPU-accelerated yet. But we don’t really know.

@Alnassir9

I've moved your post from Using the Community (for questions about the forums) to the Lightroom Classic forum for you.
