Import process taking longer than expected

I recently updated LRC and now the import took minutes instead of seconds. No reason for this.

No reason for this. 

 

We're not Adobe here, we are other Lightroom Classic users, we didn't write the software, we can't improve the software.

 

I add that you are one of a very few people who seem to be having this problem. Everyone else is not having this problem. So maybe your hardware is malfunctioning. It's worth looking into.
