Issue with masking and copying to other photo

Question

Latest update with LR anytime i copy settings while using teeth whitening on select person /teeth and paste them to an image without teeth it gives an error and asks if i want to update which obviously doesnt work cause there are no teeth showing but the major bug is the image itself no matter what u do to it doesnt adjust even not using masking and it forces me to close LR and restart it and whatever changed i did make before noticing nothing was adjusting all of a sudden has all my adjustments on it after it opens back up. I tried to choose a diffeimage and go back to the image and still nothing always having to close LR and restart. Please send this up the chain to get ironed out:))
