Lightroom 6 no longer starts or crashes after start

After a computer crash, my Lightroom 6 no longer starts. I have already deleted the .lock file, tried to start with a new catalog, checked the catalog and reset the preferences. None of this helps. At most Lightroom starts with the new catalog, but at the first click anywhere it crashes again.
Can I just uninstall and reinstall it? What do I have to watch out for? My catalog will still be there and I can connect to it again, right?
