Lightroom Classic Failure to Launch

Hey community, hoping for some insight into my Lightroom issues on my new machine.

Machine: Asus ProArt Studiobook, GPU = RTX 3080 TI

The laptop is brand new, less than 24hrs old. I installed Creative Cloud and installed Lightoom Classic right away to start migrating my catalog and content over. I launched Lightroom with no issues and did nothing more than turn on sync.

Before going any further, I updated my GPU driver to the latest version Studio Driver, restarted the machine, and Lightroom will no longer launch. When attempting to run the program, I get no prompts or windows, in fact the only indication that anything is happening is the presence of  "Adobe Lightroom Classic" in the "background processes" in the task manager.

I have since completed all windows updates, ran a fresh installation on the GPU driver, reset lightroom preferences, reinstalled lightroom, and just about anything else I could think of.

Anyone experianced this before? I reached out to Nvidia about a possible driver issue, but have not heard back yet.

After updating the GPU driver, you restarted your computer. Was LrC still running then? Was LrC properly closed before that?

LrC was closed correctly prior to the restart.

I've been speaking with Nvidia tech support about this the last few days and ended up rolling the GPU driver back to the prior version and LrC started working again. This seems to be a clear indication that the driver is at fault, however Nvidia believes the issue is on Adobe's side, not theres.
