Lightroom Classic Running slow on brand new laptop

So I've just purchased a new laptop (ASUS ProArt Studiobook 16 H7600ZM 16" Laptop - Intel® Core™ i7, 1 TB SSD, 16bg RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 6 GB) Ive downloaded lightroom classic, photoshop and premiere pro. Now I've had a laptop with similar specs for the past year, only it was a 1tb hard drive rather than ssd, which ran all these programmes faultlessly. Now this laptop cannot deal with any of them without being insanely slow. The worst offender is lightroom classic which has blue-screened twice already.

I've updated my graphics card driver's and ensured all the adobe software is up to date. Is there anything else people could recommend trying?

Do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running.

Please be specific about what actions in LrC are slow.

Blue-screens most likely are caused by a bad driver somewhere, but could also be due to hardware malfunction. There are plenty of resources on the internet about how to determine the cause of blue screens.
