Lightroom Classic v 12 Windows 10 extremely slow Exporting

Not sure what happened but I updated recently and exporting slowed to a crawl (windows10 lightroom classic 12.01).  I reverted back to 11.3 and everything is amazing.  Would be great to understand what happened and if you will fix this.

If you disable GPU in preference, is there any difference?

Many have reported problems with slow exports recently.  First troubleshooting steps to identify possible workarounds:

 

- Set Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor to Off.  Do exports go faster?

 

- If you're exporting with a watermark, does exporting without a watermark go faster?

 

- In the progress bar in the upper-right corner, do you see an initial delay of 30 seconds to a couple minutes, and then exports proceed at a more normal speed?
