Lightroom has encountered problems reading this video.

Hi there,

 

I hope someone could help me with this issue. It seems like I am unable edit any of my imported videos in Lightroom Classic. The issue affects all my videos, new videos and previously imported that I was able to edit with no problems. I am using the 13.1 release version and all my videos are mov. I had no issues editing the videos in the past. 

The videos are greyed out in the library view with a little exclamation in the corner that says "

Lightroom has encountered problems reading this video.".

 

Please could someone advice what to do?

    Hi Johan,

     

    Thank you so much for the advice! I followed the steps and added LC full disk access and it is fixed now. All the video are there and can edit them as before.
