Question

Lightroom v 12.01 not communicating correctly with Photoshop

Lightroom classic v 12.01 on a Mac Pro is no longer able to send new images to Photoshop in either raw or perceptual forms. If processed in a 3rd party programme it can be sent across to Photoshop.

Also after opening Bridge, many of the dropdown arrows are misaligned, so finding the correct dropdown can be a challenge. It does appear to self correct once one or two dropdowns have been activated.

Describe what happens when you use edit in Photoshop option to send a raw image for further processing? Be very specific.

what are you referring to "perceptual forms"?

Bridge has nothing to do with Lightroom Classic, there is a separate forum for that application.

When files are sent from one application to another they need to be in a form that can be read. Lightroom uses perceptual or relative form, for proofs and of course raw. None of these forms of file have been opening in Photoshop 2023. However today, for whatever reason, a file sent directly from Lightroom has successfully opened in Photoshop.

If this issue returns I'll post here again.
