LR Memory Usage

I have downloaded several images to LR (Current Version and Windows 11). As per my usual workflow, I edited the RAW files and then export them to a subfolder as a JPG.

The next time I open LR, it's memory usage as reported by Task Manager, uses up to about 3,400 MB and then disappears altogether from Task Manager.

Now LR is open and when I go to the most recently imported images, it works as normal until I select the jpg subfolder of my most recently imported images. At this point I get a Not Responding message and can only close LR.

On reopening LR,  I can navigate to the most recently imported images folder with no issues. If I select a previously edited RAW file and save as a JPG, LR realizes the file jpg already exists and prompt my to confirm an overwrite.

If however, I attempt to view the JPG subfolder, LR stops responding.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

BTW, I am currently in LR viewing the RAW images. Task Manager is not reporting that the app is open, nor is LR running as a Background process.
