LRC fails to re-open when selecting a different catalog

Mac OS 12.5.1 Monterey

Lightroom Classic v 11.2

Whenever I try to select a different catalog (yes, I use multiple) and re-open, LRC fails to launch 9 times out of 10 and when I manually open LRC, it does open with the "switched" catalog fine.

It SHOULD just re-launch LRC with the new catalog but does not.

Only one or all the other catalogs you have?

Try resetting your Lightroom preferences:

Quit Lightroom Classic.
macOS: Press and hold the Shift + Option keys.
Windows: Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys.
While holding down the keys, launch Lightroom Classic.
When asked, select "Yes".
